The use of vitamin A5 was protected in this patent, with exclusive rights of use for the company CISCAREX, in 26 European countries (AT, BE, BG, DE, DK, EE, FI, FR, IT, LT, LU, LV, MT, NL, PT, SE, SI, PL, TR, ES, HU, IR, CH, UK, NO, GR) until the patent expires on 17 November 2037.
